Description

The NPIGen Generator generates a unique 10-digit identification number issued to healthcare providers in the United States. The synthetically generated NPI will pass a NPI validity check. 

Parameters

The following parameters may be configured for the NPIGen Generator. Items with an asterisk* are required.

  • seed - Using the seed will ensure that the same random data is generated each time data is generated.
  • positionType* - Determines whether to generate a 10-digit NPI or a 15-digit NPI.
