Unstructured Data Accelerator (UDA) - Users can now edit their PDF template document after the initial export. This can be done by selecting Manage UDF in the Self Serve drop-down menu options for a Project Version. When exported again, it creates a new Project Version with the changes made to the PDF document.
ListParquetGen - Loads list data from a column in a Parquet file.
Only the selected column is read from the file.
Nested columns can be referenced using dot notation (e.g., address.city).
LIST columns are flattened, so each element becomes a separate value in the list.
NULL values are skipped.
Dates, times, timestamps, decimals, and UUIDs are converted to readable string values.
Enhancements
The following enhancements were in this release:
import from JSON File - Now correctly handles multiple occurrences of the same block with varying Attributes. Previously, only the Domain field and relationship from the first object array were created, causing loss of Domains and Attributes from subsequent identical blocks.
G-Analytics- Added User Server Detail Run Activity Report to show a user/server(s) run activity in detail.
Project and Project Version REST APIs - Enhanced REST APIs to enforce Project and Project Version creation restrictions. A ‘type’ property has been added to the Project Creation REST API and can be used to specify the Project Type (Standard, Micro, and IPM).
JSONSegmentMergeReceiver - Ensures consistent formatting of Windows file paths in JSON by recognizing Windows drive letters and converting forward slashes (/) to backslashes (). Backslashes are automatically escaped as double backslashes (\) to ensure valid JSON formatting.
JSONFileReceiver - Added an outputFormatType parameter with expanded and collapsed options.
BigQueryReceiver - Added support for authentication using a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) service account JSON file.To enable service account authentication, configure the following properties in the properties file:
authenticationType = serviceAccount (default will be oauth)
serviceAccountJSONPath = <path to JSON file>
Note: If authenticationType is omitted or set to oauth, the Receiver continues to use the existing OAuth authentication method.
Scenario Chain Execution Optimization - Improve data generation performance by avoiding the execution of Scenarios whose primary Domains are disabled through G-Cases.
ExcelFileReceiver - Added a subDir parameter to this Receiver to specify an optional sub-directory where the Excel file is stored.
Breadcrumb Bar in GenRocket Web Platform - Added support to switch between Project Versions using the breadcrumb bar in both In-Place Masking (IPM) and the Unstructured Data Accelerator (UDA).
OraclePartitionReceiver - Added a new directPathLoad parameter that allows users to enable/disable direct path loading of data files to Oracle database based on their requirements. This parameter defaults to ‘True’. Direct path loading can have different operational requirements and may cause permission-related issues in certain environments.
Bug Fixes
The following bug fixes were in this release:
NDJSONFileReceiver was generating a comma after every 10,000th record.
CanadaAddressGen
Address fields contained trailing spaces in the generated output.
An incorrect postal code was being generated due to an ‘O’ being used instead of a zero (0).
GenRocket Multi-User Server (GMUS) jobs were getting stuck in the queue and failing to execute due to a failed to parse dataGenerationCount error. This error required manually clearing the queue and restarting the server.
RealtimeTestV2Receiver was accumulating API requests for every child.
G-Map was experiencing a NullPointerException due to an incorrect URL generated internally.
ParquetFileMaskReceiver was not masking values, resulting in a data type exception.
Linked Generators were throwing an exception when referencing the NumberBaseConverterGen.
CSVChildToMapGen was not handling commas in text for CSV files.
In-Place Masking (IPM) - resolved an issue introduced in the September sprint release that prevented data export for PutMap and GetMap use cases when Oracle and MSSQL receivers were assigned to IPM in a Horizontal Scaling configuration.
