Several buttons are provided within the G-Feature File Management Dashboard for adding Keywords and Steps to a Feature File.

How to add a Keyword or Step to a Feature File

The steps for adding a Keyword or Step are similar for each button option. For this example, we will add a Scenario to the Feature File.

The user will need to click on a button and enter the details. In the example below, we will add a Scenario to test user login functionality that contains three steps.

Step 1: Add a Scenario to the Feature File

• Click on the Scenario button.
  
• Enter the Step Detail and a Description (optional).
• Click the Save button once finished.
  
• The added Scenario will appear as shown below:
  

Step 2: Add a Given Step to the Scenario

• Click on the Given button.
  
• Enter the Step Details and click on the Save button.
  
• The added Given Step will appear as shown below:
  

Step 3: Add an And Step to the Scenario

• Click on the And button.
  
• Enter the Step Details and click the Save button.
  
• The added And Step will appear as shown below:
  

Step 4: Add a Then Step to the Scenario

• Click on the Then button.
  
• Enter the Step Details and click the Save button.
  
• The added Then Step will appear as shown below:
