G-Repository Client (GRC) Command-Line Options

This article summarizes all available G-Repository Client (GRC) command-line options for setting up a G-Repository Client, managing a G-Repository Client after creation, and available run commands for generating test data.

Note: You can get a list of all G-Repository commands by using this Syntax: -ghelp Example: genrocket -ghelp

GRC Client Setup Command-Line Options

The following command-line options s can be used to manually or automatically set up a G-Repository Client (GRC):

-grcltbc --g-repo-client-create-base Create a G-Repository Client Base Subdirectory
-grcltc --g-repo-client-create Create a G-Repository Client
-grcltac --g-repo-client-auto-create Automate the creation of a G-Repository Client

GRC Client Management Command-Line Options

The following command-line options can be used to manage a G-Repository Client (GRC):

-grcltf --g-repo-client-flush Flush & Re-Clone a G-Repository Client Repo
-grclti --g-repo-client-info Echo the G-Repository Client Properties to the Command-line Console
-grcltl --g-repo-client-list List the contents of the G-Repository Client contents
-grcltr --g-repo-client-repos List the names of your G-Repository Client's Repos
-grcltu --g-repo-client-update Sync & update the contents of the G-Repository Client with the G-Repository Server
-grcltcsurl --g-repo-client-change-server-url Allows users to update the G-Repository Server URL/IP in the G-Repository Client Setup. 

GRC Command-Line Run Options

These G-Repository command-line run options are used explicitly for running Scenarios, Scenario Chains, Scenario Chain Sets, Story Suites, and Story Epics from a G-Repository Client via a G-Repository Server or a G-Repository Client connecting directly to GenRocket Cloud. An additional command is provided for launching G-Migration+ with G-Repository Client.

-gsub --g-subset Launch G-Subset with G-Repository
-noup --no-update Turns off automatic updates to G-Repository Server or G-Repository Cloud
